Let me introduce myself.... |
| |
My name is Jasmine. I got here awhile ago, from the animal shelter. I was brought there with three kittens by my old owner, who tried to claim that he "found" me on the street. Loser. Then some strange lady kept coming by looking for her lost cat. She always stopped to pet me. She looked like a real pushover so I decided to act all nice to her. It worked. I hit the jackpot. Now I've got a big place to live in, food whenever I want it, and two slaves who wait on me hand and foot.
But there's a price. A *high* price. As you can see from this photo, I don't feel very relaxed around here. The stress! The abuse! |

Meet the boss |
| |
When we moved to the ranch, Henry was a stray that would come by to steal our other cats' food and beat them up. It took ALOT of work, but we've turned him into the ultimate housecat. It's probably mainly laziness on his part that keeps him from being as violent as he used to be, but that's OK too. He "helps" alot in the office, as you can see from this photo.
He's no rocket scientist, so it has taken him three years now to discover that laps are good places for a nap. We've given up on him figuring out the cat flap though!
And yes, he's the model for the cat on wheels. |

This is Tristan |
| |
Tristan is the old man of the house. He's a 14-year old Bombay, and we suspect that his parents were siblings.
Tristan doesn't really DO anything. He just sleeps all day, often wrapped around Jeannette's neck (which is pleasant in the winter). He has Chronic Renal Failure and not that many teeth left, but we think he'll be around for awhile anyway!
Don't worry, he's not missing an eye, although it looks like it in the photo. He's just high on catnip.

Anybody seen this cat? |
| |
Working on this website was most definitely overshadowed by the fact that kitty Cinnamon disappeared on Saturday, October 18th, and has not been seen since. As the brat of the family, things are just too quiet around here without her! Henry obviously misses her too and spends alot of his time sitting in the front room, staring at the door.
Alot of time and effort has been put into finding her, but so far with no luck. She is sorely missed. |
